Challengers of Psychology =)

Hi fellas, how are you? I hope that fine, well today I`m going to talk about the important challenges that my discipline is currently facing. As you know I`m studying psychology in the “Universidad de Chile”. I thought that in psychology are many challengers because is a very human science and the humans problems are too many.

In psychology are two very important areas that take the social matters and the education matters. There are Social-Communitarian Psychology and the educational psychology. The social-communitarian psychology faces the social matters, but on the view of the person that live in a particular community. I think that this matter is so important because this part of the discipline see the problems of poor people, the problems of people with few salary, and problems of this unequal society. This type of matters should be taken by psychologists and they should be able to help this type of people and they should be able to give hope to that people. I think that the Social-communitarian psychology always must work to improve the quality of people`s life, especially if that people is poor people or people in social danger.

To the other side we have the Educational psychology. This discipline faces the education problem. An educational psychology tries to improve the education quality, improving the class-quality of the teachers, advising what the better form to teach is and the better form to treat and understand to all students. In these areas I think that the educational psychologist should work to really improve the quality of education, especially in Chile, because we have a really poor quality in the education...you can see that on the significant diferences in schools, in schools with low quantity of money, to improve it, the infraestructure is soo poor, and the quality of teachers is so low comprated with techers of the high quantity of money schools.

I think that this two chalengers are the most important challengers on psychology field. With a big quantitiy of effort and many patience.that challengers could be superated, depends of you...work hard, only you can safe the psychology chalengers.

What I do to improve my faculty =D

Hello my dear folks, I’m back after two weeks of absence…well today I’m going to talk about some suggestions for improving my Faculty.

I think that the most important thing is the infrastructure, because I think that isn’t so modern. But more that this is the space in the faculty, I believe that in the faculty isn’t sufficient rooms. I think that we need more computers labs, because the two computer labs are always full of people and in that circumstances is too hard work, especially when there English classes or another class that it need the computer labs.

What I do to improve this situation… I don’t know… I will put another computer lab with more computers; I think that with one more computer lab this situation will change. Another think that I will improve is the incorporation of a “study room”, because the library is too small, and is so noisy, I think that de library of socials is the loudest library in Juan Gomez Millas Campus. With this “study room” the student of sociales faculty could study calm and silent. This room will have a really amazing impact, because a lot of students need that room to study in silence, in a “really silence”.

To last for finish, I improve the size of the class rooms, because I think that there are so small for many people. That will be so great because the student could have more space, and in a more comfortable host-seeking our heads think better =D!!!!

My dream vacations =)

Hi fellas! How are you? I hope that fine, well today I’m going talk about my dream vacations =) and…well I make myself this question all the time, and I believe that the perfect place would be Greece. Why Greece? Because that country has a really important history and they have a really rich culture… and I don’t know, my dream always has been take me a picture beside the great Athena statue…that would be so great, so wonderful, that would be a dream make true…

Another place that I would like to visit, and have a really god time in it, is Caribbean! Yeah, because is a really “tropical paradise”, I would like to see beautiful women, jaja =$! I would like to enjoy the water of the tropical sea! And go to all of night clubs and discotheques… A lot of drinking, a lot of dancing and a lot of smoking! That would be really great! I love parties, and I love beautiful women =$… The Caribbean is the “beautiful women paradise” =)

But after all I would remember that there are only dreams =( ! I hope that one day that would be possible, but I don’t know…that is so hard…but as people say “dream is free”

My beautiful city =D

Hi my dear fellas, today I’m going to talk about my beautiful city and this is for you, you that never have been in my city…I’m from Santiago, Chile…This is the Chilean capital and it has about six million of habitants, is a city full of smog, but it has beautiful places that you can visit. =D

To begin I’m going to talk a very funny place…of mechanic entertainment games, “macro-games” that is “Fantasilandia”, is a very interesting places, in it you can have a really good time with your friends! If you are new in the city, you would visit this place.

Another place that you will visit is “suecia neighberhoad”, this is the party place, at night this is a very visit place, by young people, a lot of discotheques, and a lot of music al drinking =D!

And the latest place is the “monumental stadium” that is the house of my love soccer team Colo Colo =D! A soccer match of Colo Colo is another good experience; the passion that you will feel is indescribable. You will visit this place because Colo Colo is the best soccer team of Chile, and always is a really good spectacle see the best soccer team Ever! =D

My favorites sports

Hi Folks! How are you, I hope that fine today I’m going to talk about my favorites sports, and if you ask yourself what they are, they are soccer, tennis and table tennis =).


To begin I’m going to talk about soccer because it is my favorite sport, well, Soccer to me is a Religion, I like to see and play soccer, My favorite team of Chile is the “twenty eight times champion Colo Colo” =) I like to go to stadium to encourage my team. Another thing that a would like to say is that I play in the Soccer Team of the faculty…The “Ciencias Sociales Futbol Club” xD… Soccer to me is a really passion.


Tennis and table tennis are sports really interesting to me, but not as soccer. I like to see tennis and I like to play table tennis. I would like to play tennis, but I don’t have de resistance necessary to be a great tennis player XD…The sport that I dislike is golf, because I believe that is a elitist sport, because to play golf you need have a lot of money…to me is a exclusive sport, reserved to rich people. I hope that in the future that change, and everyone can play golf.

Transantiagooooo!!!! xD

Hi my dear fellas, how are you, I hope that fine, well today I’m going to talk about my new transport system…and it is…Transantiago.

In my opinion the new transport system is better than old system, because now I can to change the bus for free, four times in two hours, this is really important because I can make a little journey paying only once for the trip.

But, the new system also has bad things, such as, the buses full of people, sometimes the bus delay a lot of time…maybe one hour or more!!! That is so bad =/ but I think that the new system is better than old system because is cheaper and it combined whit the “metro system” and that maybe could make your journey shorter.

About my experience, when the new system starts, I have to wait a lot for one bus, and the people got angry easily! Now I think in it that was so funny! Now the system is much better than the start, people don’t got angry with the same easily, and the buses pass faster than in the start.
Despite this the new system have a lot of things to improve, the changes that I apply in the future to make the system better would be have more busses and have they under control to make the system faster and solve the “bus full of people problem”.

I'm Back Baby (H)!

Hi my dear and loved fellas, as you wanted , I'm BAAAAACK =D this is my second blog experience, but now I'm on level four, this is my last level =D ! I hope that this experience would be so wonderful like my first experience the last semester.

To start, I'm going to talk about some activities that I want to do this semester on this blog experience. In the future I would like to write about my freak histories in the university, my dreams to the future, in few words, make this blog my life’s diary.

That would be so great, because I thought that is so interesting write about the life’s experience. That would make possible that all the “readers” know more about myself, and they could comment the histories, and talk about their life’s experiences, that will be so wonderful =D!.

Also I want to write about my favorites people, my favorites places, my favorites dates, my favorites books, etc. Maybe I could talk to you about my loves, my lovers =$, who knows? jaja =$ ! I thought that the important thing on this blog experience is learn more about English language, write and talk better, on the end of this course, I hope that all make true, I’m so motivated, and that is all =D see you the next week my dear friends =D take care =D! Good bay =D

Hello my dear fellas well today is my last blog =( I know that it is very sad, but, it is that it is =D.

My experience on the blog was really funny; I enjoy that a lot, thanks to my people for read my publications, my freak histories xD, in few words a small part of my life.

This blog was really interesting to my, because in it I could say a lot of thing such as my dreams, my career, my favorites things, my future and a lot of special moments and things.

I believe that this blog help me to learn and practice English, I learn more words, and a practice written every weeks, although I didn’t make one of my blogs xP and that blog was a very important mark XD but anyway it is that it is xD!

The advantage of this blog is that whit it we can improve our English written every weeks, but a think that the blog could be better if the sessions will be funnier, for example we could talk about our friend =D, or our class, or our especial moments with our family etc. But I think that this blog is a very important tool to speak and write English better.

I think also that this is a very didactic form to learn English in a know environment, this computer xD we feel like we be on our world in a technology society… xd! This is a very interesting form to teach English.

Well and that is all… this story has ended I hope that I will be able to see you in the next future, I enjoy this experience a lot, thanks of all of you for ear my freak histories xd!, I miss you so much ! and I have a gift to you =D a very beautiful photo =) I hope that you really enjoy it =D

My dreamed job

Hi “little guys” how are you… I hope that fine, well, as you can see is late, but I can’t write on my blog earlier because I was so busy. Well, today I’m going to talk about my dreamed job, and well I never ask my self what my dreamed job is it?

I think that my dreamed job would be work as a psychologist in the clinical area, treatments Childs and young people. I want to works in my own clinical and I want to help some people free, because I think there are a lot of people that needs help and nobody gives it. The principals skills that I need, are, patience, listening capacity, and a good will to improve the quality of people’s life.

I hope that I will be a very good psychologist, because I would like helps a lot of Childs and young people to take of a smile of there faces…I hope that my dreams will be real in a “not too far future”

On my road, I will have a lot of problems, such as, don’t find work, but the heart is so big, and I always fight for make my dreams really! See you guys!

My favorite subject ! =)

Hi Fellas, well today I’m going to talk about my favorite subject. If you ask yourself what it is? The answer is Psychology =)! This is an “introductory” subject about my entire career. I like it because in it we talk about a lot of topics of psychology, and because my teacher it’s a really good person, his name is Juan Enrique Wilson, is a very good teacher =). He tries to motivate you to transform in a good psychologist in the future.

In this semester I learn a lot of things, like behaviorism, intelligence, memory, and a lot of diferents topics. This is a general view, in other semesters we will see each topic in depth. Can you see why this subject is an introductory subject?

I hope that In the future the subject serves to me to face better the other subjects on my career…I hope that I will be a very good psychologist…and well this is all thanks folks! See you !

My future

Hi Fellas, How are you? I hope that fine…well today I’m going to talk about my future.

In five years from now I hope to be graduated with my title and I would like to follow a postgraduate course abroad. I would like to study in the U.S.A or Europe. If that can`t be, I hope to be a great psychologist in the clinical area.

Also I hope to have a really cute relationship with my true love, and with her make a cute family and have children =).

In five years from now I hope to be living without my parents, with one stable work, and making money =P, I hope that my work serves to improve the quality of people’s life…and make them happier =).

I hope that In the future I continue seeing my friends, to make many parties, and have a really good time always…And well, that was a little part of my aspirations, see you later =)!

Sigmud Freud =)

Hi fellas what’s up today I’m going to talk about the best psychologist ever. And this is Sigmud Freud. This is a very personal opinion. To me Freud is the best psychologist ever because he was a very important input to the contemporary psychology with his “psychodynamic current”.

This current it’s a great revolution to his time, because he talk about the natural impulses of the human beings, for example he talk about the love that child have for his mother, but he talk about a sexual desire that the humans have for his mother when they was babies.

Other of his very important input is the psychoanalytic therapy as you can see in the picture. The psychoanalytic therapy is one of the most important psychology therapies in the world, perhaps in Chile this therapy is not that important, but I believe that this therapy in few years more will be a very important therapy in this country.

Sigmud Freud never thought that his current would reach so far, and now he is one of the most important psychologists ever .

Psychology is my life (L)

Hello guys, I’m back, and today I’m going to talk about my career, as you know I’m studying psychology at the “Universidad de Chile” , and I study this science because I would like to improve the quality of people’s life.

A psychologist is very important to society, because they help anybody, with those problems, and they teach you how to live a better life.

A psychologist needs a lot of tools for the future, but there are tools related with the personality, such as, reliability, listening skills, patience, etc. With which you can see that not anybody can be a good psychologist. I hope that I will be a good psychologist in the future.

In the university I have a lot of subjects, but my favorites subjects are history and psychology. History because it helps you to make yourself a critical person, and psychology because is the subject that introduces you in the future career. =)

Hello guys, sorry but the latest week I was studyng a lot for two writen test and I couldn't write on my blog...but today I'm back =D and I will talk about one of my favorite pictures.

Can you see it? they are my school friends, In the picture your can see Ojitos, Samy, Larry, Jaimito, Nahim, Chubi and I but everybody call us "Larry's Team", Why? Because the leader of the team is larry =)... The picture was taken by one of my girlfirends :D I couldn´t remember which one, sorry =P.

The photo was taken on Scarlet's Birthday (her eigtheen birthday). That day we had a really good time =) a lot of dancing and drinking :X can you see our faces =O? haha xD we were "some" drunk, =O but only a little bit =x... I love this picture because I'm with my friends... and now in the university I really miss them =(...I hope that our friendship never ends =)... Love you guys =) thanks for everything =)!

Hi my little friends =D today I will talk about my favorite website related to my career...If you ask yourself what my career is ...the answer is Psychology =D! but...the truth is that I don't visit any website related to my career...But I searched a website on the web and found a very interesting website related to psychology...the web site is http://www.psicologiapopular.com/ and in the web site you can find some arcticles, papers, related to psychology...it is a web site for everyone that likes psychology.

I like the web site because in the web site you can find a lot of categories...as Love, Adictions, depression, etc...it's a very popular site as its link name.

How often do I use the web site?...The truth is that I found the web site recently but I hope that I will visit the web site once more...because I think it is a very good web site related to psychology.

I Love My I-Pod (L)!

Hi Guys...What's up?...today I will talk to you about my favorite piece of technology...and it is my I-Pod...(L)...the history of my i-pod is some strange...because I got it from a classmate... and he found it in Australia! =O!..it cost me 30 "lucas"... I used my i-pod to listen to music... and sometimes see videos... but I love my i-pod because I love music...and I can't walk without listening to music...How often do I use my i-pod? this is a very simple question...All day :D! and everyday :D in one word ALWAYS :)!

Another important thing is that my i-pod is the center of many partys, because I have about 500 song of reggaeton, cumbia, salsa, bachata, etc... then...any place that I go...Party comes with me =)!

My I-pod is my life...I can't imagine my life without my i-pod...If you like music like me... you could understand me.

A little part of my history...

Hello, if you ask yourself who I'm I will give you a very short introduccion of my life...

My name is Matías Nicolas Arias Púas, but everybody calls me Waxo, I'm 18 years old, and I study Psychology in the best university of Chile .. "La Universidad de Chile", I live in Villa la Reina near the new Militar Hospital... I hope this English course gave me all I need to write and speak English better... I need to practice a lot, but I'm sure that this will work. :D!
